How sustainable is the Swedish Forest Model? "The Swedish forestry model” refers to the forest regime that evolved following the 1993 revision of the Swedish Forestry Act. It is key to Swedish forest politics and used to capture the essence of a sustainable way of managing forests."
The impact of our human 'intervention' is constantly debated among different stakeholders, and this stagnation of dialogue continues to stifle the future steps required for the stability and biodiversity of the forest.
This participatory design project explores the dichotomy of the ‘Swedish Forestry Model’ through a speculative design artifact.
